Harlem Force Kite
The lightweight, strong and fast Big Air kite from Harlem
The Harlem Force is the first kite to use PROWELD technology, developed in the Brainchild factory of kite designer Ralf Groesel. The segments of the leading edge and struts are not stitched but welded. This results in a frame that is about 20% lighter and up to 30% stiffer in torsion. Fewer seams also mean less chance of wear and less additional material. Combined with classic 132 g/m² Dacron, which has proven its strength for years, you immediately feel the difference in the air. The Force has extremely low bar pressure and responds quickly to steering inputs. Ideal for short, fast kiteloops and technical tricks where control is everything. The kite turns tightly and catches you smoothly, even during double loops. The power build-up remains manageable and predictable, perfect for progressing toward radical Big Air tricks without it feeling too intense right away.
In strong wind, the Harlem Force remains super stable. This is due to the stiff frame, five precisely positioned struts, and eight carbon battens in the trailing edge. The curved closing seam in the tips improves aerodynamics and shape retention. The Force flies smoothly through the wind window and, despite its fast character, has a surprisingly good low end. You’ll be up and running quickly, even with less wind. The production process is as innovative as the flight experience. The Dacron for the kite is produced in France. There is no bleaching or dyeing, everything is directly printed. This saves energy, water, and weight. The factory runs entirely on solar power, and all materials are sourced from Europe. Smart, sustainable, and well thought out.
The Force features its own valve with adapter, a Boomtag for tracking your kite, and three adjustment points on the tips. The pulleyless bridle is directly connected to the twelve-point leading edge. This gives you plenty of control and a clear, direct bar feel.
The Harlem Force is designed for advanced to expert kiters who want to push their Big Air tricks and kiteloops to the next level. Are you looking for a kite with direct steering response, minimal bar pressure, and maximum control in strong winds? Then this is your perfect partner in crime. Whether you’re already throwing powerful loops like in the Red Bull King of the Air, or just practicing your first rotations, the Force helps you go higher, faster, and with more style.
