Do you keep kiting through winter and want a wetsuit that makes it easy? Then the Prolimit Flare 5/4 Double Frontzip 2026 Wetsuit is a really solid option. It will get you through the cold months with ease, and for a winter wetsuit it stays impressively flexible too. You get the best of both worlds.
The Flare is built with a smart 5/4 mm construction. Around the torso you get 5 mm NaturePrene2® for extra warmth and insulation. In the arms and legs, 4 mm material is used so you can keep moving freely while steering, jumping, and turning. NaturePrene2® is completely neoprene free and made from natural rubber sourced from FSC certified rubber trees. So you get the same stretch, insulation, and durability as traditional neoprene, but with a much more conscious material choice. On the inside, the Flare features Zodiac 2 with a Velvet Airflex lining. This soft fleece feels warm against your skin straight away, absorbs moisture quickly, and releases it fast too. That keeps you comfortable during your session, and it helps the wetsuit dry faster after use. Velvet Airflex also adds extra stretch, so the wetsuit moves smoothly with you without feeling tight or stiff.
The outside is finished with Double Lined Down Airflex. This material combines water repellent properties with maximum stretch and a soft feel. Ideal for intense sessions where comfort and freedom of movement matter, a smart design from Prolimit. The seams are glued and blind stitched (GBS). The panels are triple glued and partially stitched, keeping the suit strong while reducing the chance of water getting in. Thanks to the asymmetrical Freezip frontzip, you can get in and out of the wetsuit easily, without feeling like you need to wrestle it over your shoulders. The YKK zipper opens wide for a smooth entry and stays comfortable and secure while riding. Everything about this wetsuit is designed to keep your focus on the water, not on your gear.
